Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using CineVault AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you may bind that organisation. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. One person may hold one account; the daily generation limits apply per account, not per browser.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to generate or share content that:

• Depicts real people without their consent, including deepfakes intended to deceive or harass;
• Is unlawful, obscene, hateful, or incites violence against any person or community;
• Sexualises minors in any way, or violates any applicable Indian law including the IT Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021;
• Impersonates brands, government entities, or public figures;
• Attempts to circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, probe security, or resell generations at scale without a written licence.

We run automated safety filtering on prompts and outputs, and may suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice by email where practicable.

4. Subscriptions, payments and the Founder's Pass

Free accounts include 1 video generation per day, resetting at midnight IST. The Founder's Pass is a one-time payment of ₹500 for 3 months of founder benefits, after which it renews at the lifetime locked price of ₹199/month per month for as long as the subscription stays active. Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). Pricing for non-founder plans may change after public launch; founder pricing is locked as described on the pricing page.

5. Refunds

Founder's Pass: If you have not generated any videos within 7 days of purchase, you may request a full refund via our WhatsApp support line. Upon refund, you permanently forfeit all Founder benefits — including the lifetime price lock, priority queue, early model access, and exclusive community membership — and will not be able to reclaim Founder's Pass pricing again at any point in the future.

After 7 days, or after generating even one video, the Founder's Pass is non-refundable. You may still cancel your subscription anytime with no cancellation fee; you retain access until the end of the paid period.

Beyond the above, payments are non-refundable except where required by law, or if we materially fail to provide paid features and cannot fix it within 14 days of your report. Request refunds by writing to support (see Section 10) or messaging us on WhatsApp.

6. Your content and generated videos

You own the videos you generate, to the extent permitted by the underlying model licences, and you keep all rights and responsibilities for how you use them. You grantCineVault AI a limited licence to store, transmit, and display your prompts and generations solely to operate the Service (e.g., your dashboard history). If you publish a generation to the public gallery, you grant other users permission to view and reuse that prompt. You are responsible for disclosing AI-generated media where required by platform rules or law.

7. Waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist reserves no entitlement to access. Invitations are rolled out in waves, with Founder's Pass holders prioritised. Positions may shift for fraud prevention (e.g., duplicate or disposable email addresses).

8. Service changes, availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is". Generation quality and speed depend on AI models we do not fully control and may change over time. We target reasonable availability but do not offer an uptime SLA on consumer plans. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You may close your account any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your access ends and generated files are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required. Paid periods are handled under Section 5.
